Of course it is slightly longer than the hand luggage allowances, but as I understand from some friends of mine that it doesn't have to get into any trouble if carrying the violin in this case as a cabin luggage on flights
It's very compact, comfortable and designed perfectly for traveling safely.
The customer service is very good. The staff is very nice and welcoming and it arrived in less than a week with a safe courrier service.

I have not attempted to fly with this violin case yet, but I am very happy with it's compact good quality. I will use it a lot at folk festivals in UK as it is easier to carry than the conventional 'fiddle' case.
