Nicolas Gilles - Luthier Vidal

Nicolas Gilles studied classical guitar since 1986 in schools and conservatories in Clermont l'Herault, Montpellier, Nancy, Mirecourt: Higher diploma with special mention.

In 1988 he participated in the special classical guitar program "L'ecole des Fans", presented by Jacques Martin with the guest Pedro Ibáñez, in the same year he obtained the first price in the international classical guitar competition of Romans (Isere).

English School of Violin Making in Newark from 1996 to 1998: Diploma with mention "Superior Merit".

Assistant to Charles Luc Hommel in Marseilles, France from 1998 to 2000 (mainly in restoration in one of the oldest workshops in France).

Assistant to Frederic Chaudiere in Montpellier, France from 2000 to 2002 (making).

Assembly workshop in Montpellier in 2001, making quartet instruments.
