Nicolas Gilles studied classical guitar since 1986 in schools and conservatories in Clermont l'Herault, Montpellier, Nancy, Mirecourt: Higher diploma with special mention.
In 1988 he participated in the special classical guitar program "L'ecole des Fans", presented by Jacques Martin with the guest Pedro Ibáñez, in the same year he obtained the first price in the international classical guitar competition of Romans (Isere).

The workshop is located in the historic center of Montpellier: "Sainte Anne Square" is one of the most important cultural districts of the city. Its activity focuses on the elaboration of violins, violas and cellos
