At Luthier Vidal, we have been experiencing music from the inside out for over 40 years: listening to, caring for, and accompanying musicians from all over the world, regardless of their skill level and preference. We understand their needs, their concerns, and also the intimate relationship each one maintains with their instrument.

From this experience and this bond, Do Cases was born: our own case brand. A proposal that brings together everything we have learned over the years at Luthier Vidal: technical knowledge, musical sensitivity, and the desire to offer something made by and for musicians.

The origin: from experience to design

The idea of ​​creating Do Cases began to take shape around 2015. After years of listening to musicians and observing how they used their cases, we realized we could contribute something more. We identified common needs and concerns and set out to develop our first line of cases.

We wanted a functional, durable, and competitive design that truly responded to what musicians were asking for: lightness, protection, and comfort, without sacrificing design. So we began working on the first prototypes, testing materials, weights, closures, and finishes, taking care of every detail with the same precision with which we care for their instruments.

The name, our symbol

The name Do Cases came about very naturally. "Do" is the first note of the musical scale; we also wanted to be the first choice for cases. But in Japanese, Do means "path": the path of cases, of musicians, of music.

Our logo represents that spirit: the letter D forms a recumbent bridge with a heart in the center. That heart symbolizes the connection between instruments, music, musicians, and lutherie. This is our way of understanding and experiencing our work. Each project carries our soul and our love.

A clear philosophy: to protect, accompany, and inspire

From the beginning, our goal was simple yet ambitious: to make musicians happy. Each model is designed with the intention of offering protection, comfort, and confidence. We select technologically advanced materials—such as carbon fiber and composites—while always maintaining a balance between weight, durability, and aesthetics.

We take care of every detail: from the finishes to ergonomics, water resistance, comfort, and space for accessories, achieving optimal placement of the bow and instrument to ensure the best fit and cushioning.

The result is cases with an attractive design, great durability, exceptional value, and constant updates to adapt to new generations of musicians.

A family in constant evolution

From the first Style cello models, we moved on to violin cases and carbon versions. Today, the Do Cases family has expanded with new ranges, colors, improved interiors, and multiple accessories such as cello music holders, bow cases, and baton boxes.

Our Cabina cases have become true benchmarks for their balance of durability, comfort, and elegance. Each new product stems from dialogue with musicians, from their constant feedback, which for us is an inexhaustible source of improvement and inspiration.

Made by musicians, for musicians

Our experience as luthiers is what gives meaning to each design. We know which parts of the instrument are most vulnerable, how a bow behaves, and how temperature and humidity affect it.

For us, designing a case is a natural extension of the luthier's craft: protecting a musician's most valuable asset, with the same dedication with which we tune or restore an instrument.

We support the experience of musicians of all levels, from beginners to the most prestigious. We are always attentive to their suggestions, and Do Cases' goal will always be to meet their needs with products developed in close collaboration by and for them.
