The Pirastro Perpetual Soloist Cello String Set is designed for cellists who wants sparkle and clarity in G and C, combined with a full, round sound in A and D.

Strings
1st A, rope core and chromed steel winding. Its tone is clear for the first few minutes and then settles into a a complete, round and lush dark timbre. It provides a soft and warm sound.
2nd D, rope core and chromed steel winding. A strong string with incredible volume and depth. It provides a sound full of body and abundant power without losing warmth and ease when playing it.
3rd G, rope core and tungsten winding. A string full of character, provides a bright and tempestuous sound. Focused tone with a touch of color and a warm fundamental keynote.
4th C, rope core and tungsten winding. Sonorous and deep, also being direct and clear, with a great amount of sound. It is precise and responds excellently to any bow movement.
The Perpetual Soloist
This string set provides even more power and dynamics than the Medium set thanks to the G and C strings in a Soloist Version. In combination with the Medium A- and D-strings the sound gains radiance, brilliance, volume and presence.
