The Perpetual for cello are characterized by great flexibility and an extraordinary tonal spectrum: from a sweet and warm tone to an infinitely powerful one. The sound is wide and of great volume. In the same way, the tone is bright and focused, shining to the most delicate sound. The Perpetual Pirastro allow to enhance the natural timbre of the cello and all its qualities by means of its faithful response to the dynamics and intensity with which each cellist prefers to interpret.

The Perpetual Medium
This set of strings provides a clear and precise sound, powerful and splendid. Each string responds easily and directly. This fact is especially noticeable in G and C strings, which respond immediately to the most delicate bow techniques.

Strings
- 1st A, rope core and chromed steel winding. Its tone is clear for the first few minutes and then settles into a a complete, round and lush dark timbre. It provides a soft and warm sound.
- 2nd D, rope core and chromed steel winding. A strong string with incredible volume and depth. It provides a sound full of body and abundant power without losing warmth and ease when playing it.
- 3rd G, rope core and tungsten winding. A string full of character, provides a bright and tempestuous sound. Focused tone with a touch of color and a warm fundamental keynote.
- 4th C, rope core and tungsten winding. Sonorous and deep, also being direct and clear, with a great amount of sound. It is precise and responds excellently to any bow movement.
